Mango Smoothie Pie!


Crust ingredients


  • 1/2 cups raw sunflower seeds – ground finely
  • 2 cups dates

Crust Directions

  1. Use a coffee ginder, Themomix,  grinder to finely grind the sunflower seeds to a powder.
  2. Add the dates and sunflower seed powder into a food processer and blend together until it forms a crumbly consistency.
  3. Press the mixture into the pie plate.

Filling ingredients

  •  5 cups of mango
  • 1/2 cup dates OR 1 cup dried mango

Filling Directions

Blend together the mango & dates(Or dried mango) in mixer or blender or thermomix to your desired consistency.

  1. Pour into the pie crust
  2. Top with your favorite fruits/garnishes. Strawberries were used here.
  3. Refrigerate for 30 minutes or eat as is.

Tofu Creamy Smoothie


Direction on how to make:


150g soft tofu

2 tablespoons of maple syrup

1 tablespoon of sesame seed oil or tahini

1 cardamom pod  (seeds only)

1 teaspoon of cinnamon

Pinch of nutmeg

Seeds from 1 vanilla pod


Blend until smooth and creamy

Warming Christmas Apple Cider 

2 litres of apple juice

2 teaspoons of cinnamon

4 cloves

1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg

2 oranges peeled and sliced into rounds

1 apple cored and chopped into

1/2cm pieces Cinnamon sticks

Heat the apple juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, apple pieces and orange slices in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes or until the mixture is hot, stirring occasionally. ...

Strain the warm juice into a heatproof pitcher or individual mugs.

Garnish with cinnamon sticks

Festive Breakfast Smoothie 

50g Muesli

1 Banana

Handful of raisins

A few flakes of dried coconut

Teaspoon of tahini

A dash of cinammon

10 soaked almonds

Oat milk to blend ingredients together until thick but runny.  You may warm up the oat milk if you choose.

Christmas Orange Mocktail Smoothie

Makes 2 servings

2 oranges (peeled)

1 banana

handful of ice

1 cup of plain yogurt or soya yogurt

Ground cinnamon 

Ground nutmeg


This is a great drink to whip up for Christmas. We usually use kefir instead of yogurt. Throw everything into your blender and blend until smooth. Pout into a glass and dust the top with cinnamon and nutmeg


Double chocolate pecan treats(makes 22)

1 cup raw pecans nuts
1 cup dates, pitted • 1⁄2 cup cacao powder

1⁄4 cup cacao nibs
3 drops vanilla extract

1⁄4 teaspoon sea salt



Place the pecans in a food processor and pulse until you have the texture of breadcrumbs.

Add the rest of the ingredients (except the cacao nibs) and pulse until combined. 

Raw Paleo Biscuit Crunch

1 cup almond meal/ground almonds
1 cup cashews
1 cup mixed Brazil and pecan nuts
1 Tspn vanilla extract
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup coconut oil
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
1/4 cup pumpkin seeds

Grind all nuts to a fine nut meal
Add all other ingredients and mix for 10 sec on speed 9. Spread out in a Teflon sheet and dehydrate for 12-24 hours at 37 degrees or until crunchy.
